How To Use UNY Digital Library: A Quick Guide For Registration

As a college student, books become basic needs to support academic grades or become references when working on a thesis. However, a college student who is always tight on the budget is facing a difficult situation where books prices are undeniably expensive and some books are too difficult to find.

However, in this digital era, the expensive price of books are solved with the appearance of digital library service. There is a lot of Indonesian college institution which open digital library service to help their students access books for free. It is also applied in one of the most known college institutions in the Yogyakarta region, Yogyakarta State University (UNY).

Yogyakarta State University opens a digital library service called Eprints UNY that can be accessed by all UNY students to open theses, scientific documents, papers, and other materials as a reference when working on an academic assignment.

Registering for Eprints UNY service is quick and easy, but there are a lot of UNY students who do not know about this site and resulting in them experiencing hardship when looking for trusted references. It only needs 5 minutes to register and you can access all materials there for free.

1. Visit the registration page of Eprints UNY


Use a browser to open the registration page of Eprints UNY, or you can click this link  https://eprints.uny.ac.id/register.html/ to register.

2. Fill out the registration form using the SSO account


After getting to the registration page, click the link provided and fill out the form using your student SSO account. This form is required for self-verification as UNY active student. Then submit the form after it is completed.

3. Wait for the confirmation email from Eprints UNY staff to activate the account


Check the email box and open the confirmation email from Eprints UNY staff. They will send a link to the account activation guide. Activate your account quickly and do not forget to reset the password to secure your account from being hacked.

4. Eprints UNY personal account is ready to use

After resetting the password, students can use the Eprints UNY account to browse the materials needed. Visit the Eprints UNY main homepage https://eprints.uny.ac.id/


Login using the SSO email and use the new password. Students will be delivered directly to the main library of Eprints UNY. Happy reading!
